GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Direct Support Professional II (Nursing) works an 8-5 p.m. shift at the Center and is under the direct supervision of the IDD Community Services Program Manager. Specific job duties include, but are not limited to, coordinating/scheduling medical, psychiatric and dental appointments for consumers in the HCS, TxHmL and GR programs; coordinating nursing appointments; transports and attends medical appointments, Urgent Care, and ER visits. The DSP II will assist nurses with non-billable activities and perform any other tasks delegated by nurses or the IDD Community Services Program Director.
