Purpose of the Position: The Research Assistant I will provide support to the Aerophysics Research lab. Duties/Responsibilities: software, and manufacturing tools launcher systems as required by contracted efforts - Perform research and contracted RDT&E efforts with relevant engineering hardware, - Support the assembly, operation and maintenance of specialized - Work testing, inventory management and environmental tasks as assigned - Responsible to assisting with technical and progress reports / summaries Minimum Requirements: - College coursework preferably in Science, Engineering, Physics, or Business - Must have moderate technical knowledge - Must have excellent written and oral communication skills Desired Qualifications: - Some engineering coursework is preferred. - 1+ year work/co-op experience Published Salary (if available): $35,776 - $40,000 ($17.20-$19.23) / hour
