Position Specific Description: Join the mechanical maintenance team as we restart Duane Arnold Energy Center—a groundbreaking effort to return a decommissioned nuclear plant to service. This position is located in Palo, Iowa. Job Overview: The Plant Duane Arnold (PDA) Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, adjusting, calibrating, installing, altering, maintaining and repairing all plant equipment of a mechanical nature. The mechanic will operate a variety of hand and power tools, machines and shop equipment working to close tolerances and will fabricate small and minor equipment parts, and may operate heavy equipment.
