Classification: Full-Time, 10-Month Position Start Date: August 2026 Schedule: Standard School Day Primary Reporting Line: Head Chaplain Secondary Reporting Line: Middle School Division Head What You'll Do: Lead Meaningful Worship & Spiritual Formation You'll create chapel experiences that speak to middle schoolers where they are - spiritually curious, developmentally in transition, and hungry for belonging. Teach Religion with Academic Rigor & Pastoral Heart You'll teach up to two religion classes per semester, helping students engage sacred texts, theological concepts, and ethical questions. - Plan and lead weekly Middle School chapel services that are biblically rooted, inclusive, reflective of Lovett's Core Values, and welcoming to all faiths - Design worship experiences that engage middle school students - using story, music, silence, movement, questions, and space for reflection - Support and participate in planning all-school chapels and additional worship opportunities for students, faculty, and staff - Create age-appropriate spiritual formation experiences that meet middle schoolers' developmental needs - honoring their questions, doubts, and emerging identities - Foster i...
