What You Will Do: - Collaborate with Neonatologists, Pediatricians, Respiratory Therapists, Social Workers, and other professionals to provide specialized care for NICU patients. - Attend high-risk deliveries (e.g., meconium-stained, multiple gestation, congenital anomalies). - Administer medications, manage IVs, utilize ventilators/CPAP, and perform physician-ordered tests. - Educate families on infant care and prepare them for discharge. - Document care using Cerner (transitioning to EPIC).
