Description Verland is currently seeking a House Manager to join the team at our Main Campus in Sewickley, PA. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing Exceptional Care to the individuals that call Verland their Home. This role requires knowledge of current practices and regulations in the field of Developmental Disabilities, along with a thorough understanding of training principles. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Residential Services, the House Manager supervises the care and training delivered by the direct care staff for IDD individuals. This is a salaried, exempt position. Contributions: - Supervise and train the direct care staff on individuals’ needs by reviewing IPPs, risk factors, proper mealtime, bathing, and activity procedures. - Provide orientation for new staff and participate in the training and evaluation of assigned staff. - Provide direct support, observation, and accountability to direct care staff to ensure proper implementation of individuals’ IPP. - Participate in the Interdisciplinary Team Process and prepare all necessary documentation for team meetings. - Develop an activities schedule for the individuals assigned. - C...
