JOB SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of quality assurance and quality management at the manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with the most recent AS9100 standards, and customer-specific aerospace requirements. This hands-on leadership role directs our Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure zero-defect culture, product conformity, and continuous improvement in fastener production. REPORTING TO: General Manager: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - QMS Maintenance & Compliance: Maintain and improve the AS9100-compliant Quality Management System. Act as the primary point of contact for internal audits, customer audits, and registrar certification bodies. - Production Quality & Product Conformity: Oversee inspection, testing, and release of fastener components. Ensure First Article Inspections (FAI) are performed per AS9102 requirements. - Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA): Lead the Corrective Action Board, manage the CAPA process, conduct root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why), and verify the effectiveness of actions taken. - Material Review Board (MRB): Lead MRB activities to evaluate and dispose of nonconforming materials (deviation, waiver,...
