POSITION SUMMARY: The Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist I performs neurodiagnostic procedures including routine EEGs, STAT EEGs, and long-term monitoring (LTM/EMU) hook-ups in accordance with departmental protocols, validated competencies, and national standards. This role provides high-reliability, flexible staffing support across inpatient and outpatient environments, including high-acuity settings. The technologist functions with a high degree of technical skill, clinical judgment, and professional accountability under a competency-based supervision model aligned with ASET and ABRET standards. Core Responsibilities: - Perform routine EEG studies according to departmental protocols and validated competencies - Respond to and complete STAT EEG requests within defined time, quality, and safety standards - Perform LTM/EMU hook-ups including electrode application, securement, patient education, and documentation - Ensure patient safety, infection prevention, skin integrity assessment, and seizure precautions - Identify, troubleshoot, and correct technical artifacts within scope of practice - Accurately document procedures, events, technical observations, and communications - Co...
