GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: As a Graduate Nurse (GN) strict adherence to all state applicable rules and regulations must be followed. The GN must practice only under appropriate direction and supervision of a State Registered Nurse. Under the direction of the RN Manager or Staff RN, act as patient advocate, providing continuity of care designed to meet individual patient needs through collaboration with other members of the healthcare team and supporting the philosophy, objectives and goals of the facility. Under the direction of the RN Manager or Staff RN, responsible for assessing the needs of individual patients including but not limited to adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
