Analytical Chemist

Job description

The Analytical Chemist is responsible for performing quantitative and qualitative testing of cannabis and cannabis-derived products in support of the on-site quality control laboratory. This role ensures that raw material, in-process, and finished product samples are analyzed in accordance with validated methods, internal specifications, and applicable state regulatory requirements. The Analytical Chemist maintains accurate and complete records to support product COAs and release decisions, and contributes to the ongoing integrity of laboratory operations including instrument maintenance, reagent management, and SOP compliance. The ideal candidate brings hands-on analytical experience in a regulated environment. Essential Functions: Perform chemical and microbiological testing of raw material, in-process, and finished product samples in accordance with validated methods, SOPs, internal quality systems, GLP, cGMP, and all applicable state regulations.
