This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a CEI Senior Inspector for major long-term highway/bridge projects in the greater Orlando area. Be involved in projects with our Florida Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Your Impact: Job Duties: - Interpret plans and perform independent technical assignments to ensure inspection and monitoring of construction activities performed on roadway and bridge construction projects. - Verify that construction activities are performed according to the contract documents, including specifications, plans, standard plans, permits, policies and procedures. - Perform materials testing using hand tools, gauges and/or instruments in accordance with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requirements and scope of services. - Use various engineering tools, equipment, instruments, and computers for performing technical tasks, problem solving and record keeping. - Maintain detailed accurate records of operations and significant events: Complete and enter Daily Work Reports into client's database. - Prepare documentation to validate payments t...
