About the role Baptistcare is seeking a compassionate Chef to support our residents through nutritious, thoughtfully prepared meals that honor individual needs and preferences. Salary- $33.42 per hour + 25% casual loading + NFP benefits Casual role with shifts across AM and PM (weekdays availability is preferred) Key responsibilities: - Prepare and deliver high‑quality meals, including therapeutic diets and special dietary requirements, aligned with resident needs and preferences - Follow set menus and recipes to ensure timely, consistent and well‑presented food service - Support the Head Chef with daily food safety compliance, stock control and kitchen standards - Maintain exceptional food handling and hygiene practices across all dining and service areas - Assist with meal delivery, café operations, and the planning and execution of functions and events within the residence About you: - Mandatory Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (HLTFSE001, HLTFSE005, HLTFSE007) - Relevant Industry Training – Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate. - Commercial Cookery Certificate III / IV is required. - Previous experience an...
