Description The Dietary Aide is responsible for supporting the Dietary Supervisor and Cook in the preparation, serving, and cleanup of meals for residents/tenants in an assisted living environment. This role helps ensure that food preparation areas remain clean, sanitary, and organized, while maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all residents. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Set up and clean up the dining room before and after meals. - Assist with basic meal preparation and meal service according to the planned menu. - Help feed residents/tenants who need assistance, following safe feeding practices. - Practice and enforce proper sanitary food handling techniques and safe work habits. - Clean kitchen and surfaces according to sanitation schedules. - Support a dignified, respectful, and caring atmosphere with residents/tenants, families, guests, and team members. - Promote a healthy, resident/tenant-focused environment by interacting cooperatively and compassionately with residents and tenants. - Respond promptly and positively to resident/tenant and family requests and dietary needs. - Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance in accordance with company standards....
