Title: Cosmetology Instructor Employee Classification: Institution: TCAT-Hartsville Department: Cosmetology: Campus Location: TCAT Hartsville: Job Summary: The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Hartsville is accepting applications for the positions for Cosmetology Instructor to be located at TCAT Hartsville main campus. This full-time position requires 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. POSITION SUMMARY: To provide quality instruction for student learning and to maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom. Job Duties: Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Graduate of an accredited Cosmetology program - Current, valid Cosmetology Instructor’s License issued by the TN State Board of Cosmetology - Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a licensed Cosmetologist Preferred Qualifications: - Teaching, training or salon management experience - Experience in higher education Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal working relationships with students, colleges, business and industry, faculty, staff and the general public - Strong customer service skills; must possess effectiv...
