Position Title: Estimator Division: Thunder River Construction: Location: McAllen, Harlingen, San Antonio and Corpus Christi and Brownsville, Texas FLSA Classification: Exempt- Salaried: Employment Class: Full Time- Regular: Position Summary: The Estimator encompass the development of cost estimates for larger civil and building projects typically valued in the $1-$20M range. The Estimator position will work with Thunder River’s various project teams to provide dedicated estimating subject matter expertise to develop cost estimates for the larger design-bid-build, design-build, and Job Order Contracting (JOC) projects pursued by the organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: · Essential Functions: · Strong working knowledge of civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical discipline and the capacity to understand unique project requirements. · Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively use a variety of estimating, scheduling and reporting software tools. · The ability to effectively communicate with management, subcontractors, customers and peer group.
