About the role Biosis Australia is growing, and we’d love you to be part of it! We are seeking a Senior Heritage Consultant to join our Sydney team in a permanent basis, where you will apply your expertise to a diverse range of projects across both Aboriginal and historical archaeology. You will report to the Manager - Heritage (NSW). You will play an active role in project work through participation in project teams, project management, fieldwork, and client liaison. Independence is encouraged through actively seeking mentoring and advice. Administrative duties include those incorporated as part of project work as well as additional duties as required. Key Responsibilities: - An understanding of site patterning, land and site formation processes on the locations and survival of artefacts for both Aboriginal sites. - Lead and contribute to fieldwork projects across both Aboriginal archaeological projects. - Demonstrated experience in communication and consultation with relevant authorities, communities, clients, landowners, and the public, in relation to own projects. - Demonstrated experience in report writing and understand the different types of reports required. - Deliver proje...
