Post-Doctoral Fellow ( Job Number: 39377 ) Description: University of Colorado Anschutz: Department: Medicine/Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine Job Title: Postdoctoral Fellow: Position #00846104 – Requisition #39377: Job Summary: The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine is seeking an energetic, full-time Post-Doctoral Research Fellow to conduct translational research investigating the underlying causes of brain dysfunction in patients with critical illness. Our team primarily focuses on the underlying biology of cognitive impairment in survivors of sepsis and lung injury. The candidate will be involved in an R01-funded project at the intersection of neurobiology, vascular biology of sepsis, and aging. The candidate should have substantial experience in neurobiology with relevant work in pre-clinical modeling of disease and molecular neuroscience methods. Experience with neurophysiology and rodent behavior is preferred. This unique opportunity will provide substantial training in pre-clinical modeling of critical illness, glycobiology, vascular biology, and translational investigations in critically ill patients.
