JOB CATEGORY: SPEECH THERAPY / COMMUNICATION DISORDERS / HOME HEALTH / REHABILITATION / DEVELOPMENTAL SUPPORT This position provides speech therapy services to patients in their place of residence. Provides a treatment program for those patients with impairments in their oral motor skills, speech articulation, understanding and expressing language, cognitive skills, voice, swallowing or eating ability or physical disabilities that would hinder communication. Can provide hearing screenings and aural rehabilitation. Works effectively with other professionals to provide integrated multi-disciplinary services. REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: - MA or MS degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders. - Two years’ experience preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: - License to practice as a Speech Therapist in New Mexico. Must have by date of hire and maintain current throughout employment. - Have or be able to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications within 30 days of hire.
