Preferred Skills : RHIT certification preferred Shifts: Monday-Friday : 4pm - 12am Job Description: Supervises and coordinates the staff and daily operations of health information management within the department. Job Responsibility: - Promotes Health Information Management department goals by selecting, motivating, and training capable team members. - Leads the activities of assigned Health Information Management team members by communicating and providing guidance toward achieving department objectives. - Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines, and evaluates the performance of staff; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner. - Prioritizes, schedules, assigns, and monitors work to optimize operational service; analyzes, recommends, implements, and monitors approved work-flow changes. - Maintains compliance with the policies and procedures of Medical Records; ensures patient medical records conform to State, Local, and Federal regulations. - Conducts past and current audits of patient records to ensure accurate record keeping; informs and educates staff of regulatory changes, as needed. - Participates in evaluating and implementing quality control/performance...
