Your Contribution: - Procurement of international / cross-BU transport and logistics services for all MAHLE Business Units worldwide - Achieving savings and cost avoidance through negotiations with third-party providers - Generating savings and cost avoidance by defining concepts that leverage cross-BU synergies in logistics - Identifying opportunities and consolidating effects across global markets, suppliers, and business units - Reviewing key sourcing decisions - Defining supplier panels; ensuring the conclusion of framework agreements; participating in negotiations - Organizing regular meetings and communication with BU/plant/headquarters logistics functions to define requirements and strategies - Close collaboration with global logistics functions of all BUs/PCs in critical situations and escalations Your Experience & Qualifications: - Successfully completed business-related degree, - Strong knowledge of logistics processes and markets in the area of transport, warehousing and logistics services - Strong expertise in logistics calculation and planning methods - Several years of experience in a comparable position or forwarder agency experience would be an additional advantage...
