Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is looking for a Medical Assistant to join outpatient Gyn Oncology office located in Hartford. The Medical Assistant supports patients and providers in a fast-paced specialty practice focused on gynecological oncology health . Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, collecting specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic health record. Prepares exam rooms and helps maintain a smooth patient flow throughout the day. Ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and thrives in a collaborative clinical environment. What you will do: - Prepares exam and treatment rooms. Prepares patients for examination and treatment. Ensures patient is given appropriate clothing in preparation for the expected physical exam or minor surgeries - Obtains pertinent history, enters into the medical record including chief complaint, medical and surgical history, allergies, medications, and appropriate review of systems, and takes/documents patient vital signs.
