What You Can Expect ENGIE Supply & Energy Management (SEM) is responsible for designing and managing energy procurement and risk strategies that optimize cost, limit volatility, and enhance value for the Company and its clients. Within the SEM organization, the Asset Backed Trading (ABT) group is responsible for the pricing and managing the risks associated with the power generation and retail business across the United States. We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst that wants to grow their understanding of power markets while developing trading strategies that maximize a portfolio of renewable, battery, and thermal generation assets. We are looking for a highly skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team. This position will be situated in Houston, TX and you will report to the Head of Asset Backed Trading.You will be responsible for analyzing existing positions and creating inventive new strategies to maximize the value of the ABT portfolio. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and proficiency in quantitative methods.
