Job description

*Position contingent upon award of contract* Purpose and Scope: Performs a variety of engineering assignments to support project development, design changes, operations, installation, and maintenance of infrastructure for water supply, treatment, and distribution, as well as wastewater and sewage management. These systems are located at the Kennedy Space Center – at locations throughout the site, including at/around space flight hardware processing facilities, launch pad support buildings and facilities, engineering and administrative support buildings and other types of industrial and related support facilities. Job Duties and Essential Responsibilities: System Specific Perform a range of maintenance and sustaining work step development, analysis, or review tasks with little to no supervision and works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Provide onsite technical guidance as needed for new or existing equipment installation and/or modifications that require water infrastructure expertise and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques to come to a solution.
