Description Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is seeking a dedicated Art Counselor to provide art counseling services in our Center Township, Beaver Falls, and Ohioville, PA locations. As an Art Counselor, you will lead Art Therapy sessions at several GRC locations while ensuring the nurturing of a therapeutic atmosphere. Responsibilities: - Provides Art Counseling services to patients between Abe’s Place, Rutter House, and R.E.S.T. programs. - Develops and implements Art Counseling curriculum that compliments the existing treatment programming curriculum. - Coordinates with other special programming to offer open art studio time allowing patients to enhance their creativity. - Create and enhance patient events in conjunction with other staff to provide a wholistic environment that compliments the Gateway mission statement of mind, body, and spirit. - Participate in team meetings and support the therapy teams in patient treatment goals. - Complete documentation on group and individual interaction in patient records. - Attends mandatory GRC trainings and in-services.
