Job description
As an Engineer I for Engineering/Plastics, you will be responsible for conducting a wide variety of testing on plastics, pipes, fittings and other related plumbing products to specific standards and procedures. In addition, being the technical representative for Special Projects, assist on all internal/external audits, and having a firm understanding of all areas within Plastics/Willow Run. - Perform high level laboratory testing with minimal supervision - Thorough understanding of data analysis and software - Possess strong mechanical aptitude - Maintain/organize assigned workload to meet specific due dates - Prepare and record all data per ISO 17025 requirements - Create, review and update SOPs as necessary - Monitor and maintain assigned lab equipment for calibrations and other lab needs - Give and receive continuous trainings - Cross-train in other lab areas to alleviate the workload when high sample volumes are experienced. - Maintain a clean work environment and 6s areas - Assure adherence to all safety/health policies and procedures - Be a Technical Representative for all areas in Plastics/Willow Run - Respond to internal/external client inquiries - Research, create, and dev...
