Job Summary This is a combined position that covers shipping, receiving and product etching. These function are interchangeable between the three areas as each associate must understand all three functions. The shipping clerk position requires the accurate fulfilling of customer orders by pulling product from inventory and preparing it for delivery to our customers, per written instructions. This receiving position requires the accurate receiving of supplier components, customer returns, and in process material that was sent to an outside source for processing. The etching clerk following customer specific published guidelines to etch the tool number, revision number, job number, material grade, and date of shipment into the part. These positions are responsible for the movement and handling of product utilizing power and manual pallet jacks. They are responsible to maintain proper identification of product, documentation, and keeping product to the correct storage locations.
