Optical Design and Analysis Engineer (Experienced or Lead) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is looking for an Optical Design and Analysis Engineer (Experienced or Lead) to join our team in Albuquerque, NM developing advanced concepts on a DOD propriety program. We are seeking candidates with experience in design and analysis of complex optical assemblies or systems. This position will work with extremely talented, high performing, multi-disciplined engineering teams to work on start-of-the-art adaptive optics and optical imaging systems. Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including experienced and lead level engineers. Position Responsibilities: Develop subsystem architecture and designs of optical systems, assemblies, components, etc. to be integrated into higher level systems and platforms Define optical systems, assemblies, components, etc. performance and tolerance requirements Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict components, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements Define and conduct tests of various kinds to vali...
