Position Summary... What you'll do... Job Description As a Principal Engineer, you will act as a hands-on technical leader and architect for the Marketplace Orders and Returns platform. This role requires deep technical expertise and strong engineering judgment , with a focus on platform engineering to build scalable, resilient, and extensible systems across both backend and frontend layers. You will drive architectural excellence, evaluate and adopt modern technologies, and solve complex problems across a distributed, high-scale environment while leading through influence across teams. About the Team: Marketplace Engineering team is at the forefront of building core platforms and services to enable Walmart to deliver vast selection at competitive prices and with best-in-class customer experience by enabling third-party sellers to the marketplace platform, sell and manage their products to our customers on walmart.com .
