Job Summary: Under moderate supervision, responsible for improving the productivity of plant processes via the control and analysis of the index of productivity and efficiency. Appraises technological developments and investigates the feasibility of new techniques and processes. May train less experienced professionals. **An updated resume is required for consideration** Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Appraises technological developments and investigates the feasibility of applying new techniques and processes to the organization. Prepares cost estimates and written technical proposals. - Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications. Pilots prototypes and scale-up prototypes to test for manufacturing and quality issues. - Creates automation and machine design requirements including 3D drawing design, wiring, programming, safety features and sourcing. Troubleshoots and diagnoses design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies to proactively recommend revisions and/or improvements. - Troubleshoots legacy processes and equipment and works with Maintenance, IT and Quality Engineering to suppo...
