Experienced Software Engineer (Secure Networks & Protocols) Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) is seeking a highly motivated Experienced Software Engineer to join the SPD Training Software team in Richardson, TX . The position is full-time onsite and will work primarily in a lab environment. Position Responsibilities: Maintain P-8A AAS training devices in a predominantly Linux environment. Engineer new processes, scripts, methodologies, and solutions to provide a better product for our customers. Integration of locally developed software into training devices. Integration and troubleshooting of software from outside entities, requiring external support for configuration and troubleshooting. Install and configure Windows and Linux physical and virtual machines to meet cyber security requirements; install and test monthly patches on the operating systems. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems to find root cause and collaborate with the functional teams to find resolutions.
