The College of Nursing is seeking a full-time non-tenure Instructor. The responsibilities for this role include 95% clinical practice assignment at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, which includes: planning and directing the delivery of healthcare to the neurology population. This position provides care and health education for patients and their families. In addition, 5% teaching responsibilities in the College of Nursing will be determined in collaboration with the Department Chair and the Director of Advanced Practice. EDUCATION: Master’s Degree or higher in a nursing specialty from an accredited university required. (Doctor of Nursing Practice degree preferred.) EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years of clinical practice experience at the RN level. (Experience in the role of an APRN preferred.) LICENSES: Current DEA certification and must be certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support. Unencumbered licensure as a registered nurse (RN) and advanced practice nurse (APN) in Tennessee or eligibility to obtain licensure in Tennessee is required.
