Job Description Onsite: This position requires an employee to be on-site on a full-time basis. The Role: The Materials Technician supports safe, reliable, and on-time development builds by executing day-to-day material handling, kitting, and inventory control activities at the Ancker-Johnson Battery Cell Development Center (BCDC) . This role works hands-on at the dock s , warehouse s , and production floor to ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time , i n alignment with build plans and quality requirements. Materials Technicians play a key role in maintaining safe, organized, and efficient material flow: they ensure correct labeling and traceability, maintain 5S in storage and line-side areas, communicate shortages and discrepancies, and coordinate closely with planners, engineers, and build teams so the right materials are in the right place at the right time in alignment with build plans and quality requirements.
