Our three (3) specialized factories in Heidemann Industrial Park design and build the transformers that power homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses across the region. This role would primarily work in improving processes at our Specialty Transformers (ST) site. Through our partnership with Ameren Missouri, WTU has supplied key transformer units for Smart Energy Plan projects that are modernizing the grid and improving reliability for thousands of customers. One of our transformers now supports a new substation just south of Washington, helping deliver more reliable power to over 2,700 homes and businesses & expected to enhance service reliability for 14,000+ customers in Franklin County, Missouri.
