Job Summary: - The purpose of the SPC General Maintenance is to be responsible for assisting or repairing machines as needed throughout the plant. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Preferred knowledge of Extrusion, printing, and profiling machines - Must have experience chains, sprockets and bearing of different sizes and configuration - Knowledge of air compressors, chillers and conveyor systems a plus - Must be self-motived and have problem solving skills - Electrical trouble shooting skills and ability to use a multi-meter and amp clamp a plus - Proficient use of welding equipment and cutting torches. - Must be able to supply hand tools - Mechanical trouble shooting, with basic knowledge of electrical systems Performance Expectations (if applicable): - Must be willing to work 12 hours swing shift, 7pm to 7am - Must have 3-year maintenance experience - Lifting is required, varies per shift. (Tools, parts, etc. weights of 1 to 100 pounds 0 - 100 times per shift.) - Standing is required, varies per shift.
