Aoka is a third-party municipal services provider supporting federal, state, and local governments with code compliance, inspections, and consulting services. We specialize in delivering efficient solutions for building safety, housing standards, and regulatory compliance. Our proprietary platform, VertexPlans, streamlines plan reviews, field inspections, reporting, and communication to ensure faster turnaround times and improved service to our clients. We are seeking a Code Enforcement Officer to perform field inspections and enforce municipal ordinances on an as-needed basis. This is a part-time, on-call position with no guaranteed minimum hours. Work volume may vary based on contract assignments. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in Code Enforcement Registered Code Enforcement Officer (RCEO) with the State of Texas required Valid Class C driver’s license with a clean driving record Responsibilities: Conduct field inspections and investigate complaints to enforce municipal codes related to property maintenance, zoning, signage, environmental concerns, and abandoned/junk vehicles Issue notices of violation, citations, and stop-work orders; clearly communicate correctiv...
