Overview The Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets, Water Quality Division is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Assistant Director. If you are a strategic thinker with strong leadership, project management, and communication skills this could be the role for you. Management and program/policy development experience preferred. Candidates must have a strong understanding of how to interpret state and federal statutes and rule-making processes. The work associated with this position will be dynamic, fast-paced, and complex. Accountability towards reductions in agricultural water quality non-point source pollution is a high priority for Vermont and is a primary responsibility of this position. The Assistant Director will supervise multiple teams within the Division and must work across the Agency with other divisions to ensure consistent delivery of services.
