ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Company-Wide Safety Program Leadership: - Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide health and safety policies, standards, and procedures applicable to all Hunt Refining facilities. - Establish and oversee a consistent Health & Safety Management System across the enterprise. - Provide functional leadership, expert technical advice, and long-term strategic guidance to Safety Managers and safety professionals at the site. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with industry best practices in refining and petrochemical operations. - Support site leadership in strengthening safety culture and accountability. Regulatory Compliance & Governance: - Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA General Industry Standards and EPA requirements as it relates to Health & Safety, DOT hazardous materials regulations, and applicable NFPA standards. - Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into clear company-wide programs, procedures, and expectations that can be readily implemented at the site level - Support and coordin...
