Summary: Monitor automated irrigation system to ensure that water orders are carried out for the successful growing of crops. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Monitors activity of all farm pivots, ensuring that crop manager’s water orders are being followed. Includes watching pivot movements, start and stops, water depths, and degrees. Regularly record pivot activity, watching for changes outside of the prescribed water orders. - Monitors activity of all farm pump stations to ensure pumps are turned on and off in coordination with water orders, and that all systems are operating correctly. - Answers phone calls, taking messages or directing to the correct person; operates truck scale and completes scale tickets to ensure commodities are documented; basic office duties to include filing or copying; helps to maintain clean...
