Grain Handling Operator

Job description

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Hourly Rate: $22.63 an hour: Reporting to the 1st Shift Supervisor, you will support grain receiving, storage, and transportation operations by safely moving materials, supporting processing activities, and maintaining food safety and quality standards in a manufacturing environment. A Taste of Your Responsibilities: - Drive grain transport vehicles and haul materials between the warehouse and the plant - Load, unload, and dump inbound and outbound trucks - Transfer popcorn and maintain hauling and bin equipment - Assist processing operators with daily production activities - Perform light maintenance duties as needed - Conduct quality tests on grain - Clean grain and trash bins and level storage bins - Support fumigation of storage bins when required - Maintain good housekeeping and good manufacturing practices - Follow all food safety and quality requirements Ingredients Required for Your Success: - High school diploma or equivalent - Experience with grain elevators and or grain processing - 1+ year supporting food safety and quality standards - Valid driver’s license - Willingness to work in all weather conditions Physical Requirements: More information on...
