Job Family: Federal Contracts (ESA) Travel Required: Up to 10% Clearance Required: Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph What You Will Do: As a Sr. Contracts Specialist, you will be a part of the contracts team for a federal government R&D organization providing support for the entire program lifecycle, from source selection activities through contract closeout. Leverage expertise in negotiation, handle multiple priorities effectively, work with a wide variety of technical and project management staff, and apply knowledge of risk assessments and federal procurement topics. Working in a team environment, you will act as an advisor regarding legal requirements, client specifications, and government regulations to streamline the acquisition process and maximize client resources. What You Will Need: An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a polygraph Bachelor’s degree: FIVE (5) years of experience as a contracts professional in the industry or a contracting officer in the federal government.
