Injection Molding Manufacturing Supervisor (3rd Shift)

Job description

Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Supervise and coordinate all production activities during the third shift in a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment. - Lead, motivate, and develop machine operators, material handlers, and support personnel to ensure safe and productive operations. - Monitor production performance including output, scrap, downtime, and machine efficiency; address issues to maintain production schedules. - Coordinate mold changes, machine start-ups, and production adjustments with technicians and maintenance teams. - Ensure adherence to safety policies, quality standards, and work instructions while promoting a strong safety culture. - Identify and troubleshoot production or process issues and work with the team to minimize downtime and scrap. - Manage staffing levels, address attendance issues, and adjust work assignments to maintain production flow. - Complete shift documentation and production reports and communicate key information to incoming leadership teams. - Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
