Job Posting External: Job Responsibilities: Assisting a Fulltime Mechanical Engineer to provide mechanical engineering expertise in the area of mechanical design, hydraulics, drivetrains, motors, simulation analysis, or engineering testing procedures. Assist in the design and development of innovative forklifts and material handling equipment, focusing on one of the following: - Mechanical Design - Create layouts of proposed design ensuring that designs are functional, safe, reliable, serviceable, manufacturable, cost-effective and aesthetically and ergonomically correct. Select appropriate materials, organize bill of materials data and approve detail drawings. - Hydraulics - Propose hydraulic systems to satisfy vehicle performance and reliability goals.
