Are you passionate about emergency medicine? Is your goal to be an Emergency Department Nurse? The aim of this program is to support the novice RN to transition into the role of an ED nurse. The Emergency Nurse Residency Program is available throughout the Atlantic Health System and the job description of positions may vary from site to site. Non BSN graduates will be required to complete their BSN within 5 years of employment. All participants are asked to agree to a 2-year employment commitment at AHS. Essential Job Functions: - Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served - Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families - Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values in every aspect of their job - Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills Ideal candidate: Residency is expected to begin in September 2026.
