Description The Behavior Specialist/BCBA performs technical and professional work with a high degree of autonomy within this Intermediate Care Facility providing comprehensive habilitation services to persons with a primary diagnosis of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. The Behavior Specialist works flexible days and hours across diverse environments within this facility consistent with assigned work tasks. The behavior Specialist performs professional work in conjunction with the consulting Psychologist. The Behavior Specialist is empowered to assure that assigned individuals receive appropriate, individualized psych-social and behavioral services to facilitate active treatment by way of an efficient Interdisciplinary Process. This is a salaried, exempt position. Contributions: - Assists Interdisciplinary Teams in developing, integrating, implementing and documenting the efficacy of Individualized Behavior Plans for each assigned individual. - Monitors, reviews, and assists ID Teams in the revision of individual IPPs based on individual psycho-social and behavior needs. - Acts as advocate for assigned individuals ensuring that treatment, care and training appropriately addr...
