The Boring Company is revolutionizing urban transportation by building an underground network of tunnels to eliminate soul-crushing traffic. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll drive the development of our autonomous Prufrock machine—a 310-foot, 800,000-pound marvel with over 10,000 components, capable of drilling tunnels 10x faster than traditional methods using Zero-People-in-Tunnel (ZPIT) technology. Your expertise will help refine innovative techniques like “porpoising” to minimize surface disruption, reduce costs by a factor of 10 or more, and enable scalable infrastructure for projects like the Music City Loop and Vegas Loop.
