Business: Boys Town National Research Hospital Job Summary: In a career as a Transport Courier, you join us in providing life-changing care to patients from across the region. In this role, you will provide pick-up and delivery service for various departments and sites. Maintain appropriate logs and records and perform various routine clerical functions as directed. Operates vans or other motor vehicles as necessary. Schedule: Full-Time, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM: Locations: Pacific Street: MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: - Transports/delivers supplies, mail, human specimens, instrumentation, and printed materials to/from various locations ensuring proper care of items handled during transport. - Prepares and maintains accurate transportation logs, vehicle fuel consumption logs, and other data as required. - Operates vehicles in compliance with all FFBH policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal motor vehicle regulations, laws, and ordinances. - Communicates need for or arranges for both scheduled and nonscheduled vehicle maintenance. - Utilizes appropriate personal protective equipment or devices to prevent injuries or exposures related to the transport of human specimens...
