Perform basic laboratory functions including specimen processing, customer service, and data entry procedures in support of the hospital's mission of patient care. Collect, process, store and transport blood, body fluids and tissue specimens. Perform clerical functions such as faxing, copying and mailing of reports and answering the phones professionally. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High School Diploma or Equivalent. To be completed as established by department: (Administered at Department level) 1. West Virginia Point of Care Technician (PoC) License PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Phlebotomy Certification (CPT). EXPERIENCE: 1.
