Building a sustainable tomorrow KierBAM are a Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and BAM UK & Ireland - BAM UK & Ireland's infrastructure segment is currently delivering the redevelopment project at a Royal Navy site located in Plymouth and we are seeking a Survey CAD Modelling Technician. This role focuses on supporting the survey engineers, by processing raw data gathered from site surveys and completing survey modelling requests. The role will have a particular focus on processing laser scanner surveys. The ideal candidate will have significant experience operating 2D and 3D CAD programmes, and an understanding of surveying and the construction industry. Due to the site being a high-security military naval base, additional security checks will be required – a BPSS level of security clearance is necessary. These checks can take up to 8 weeks to process. Only candidates holding EU, NATO, 5 Eyes, or MISWG member passports and who have been UK residents for the last 5 years can be considered for this role.
