Laboratory Assistant and Phlebotomist

Job description

This position is responsible for performing phlebotomies and receiving/processing specimens to ensure high quality in the preanalytical phase of laboratory testing. Work Schedule: .5 FTE; Monday - Friday, 5am - 9am; Every 4th weekend Required Qualifications: Knowledge and skills sufficient to provide technical instructions and communicate and advise other departments on clinical laboratory procedures - High School Diploma or equivalent - Some positions, as identified by the Laboratory Manager, will be required to drive to various sites to perform phlebotomy. If required, must have a valid driver’s license and meet all criteria required under Lakeview’s Automobile Liability Guidelines.
