Job Title Continuous Improvement Engineer Position Overview: Shaw Industries is hiring a Continuous Improvement Engineer to be responsible for leading continuous improvement projects, and the training, coaching and mentoring of continuous improvement sources for Plant 65 in Andalusia, AL . This position is also responsible for deploying corporate continuous improvement initiatives within Plant 65 . The CI Engineer will report directly t o the Extrusion Plant Manager with dotted line reporting to the Residential Premium Divisional Continuous Improvement Leader . Areas: Strategy: This position assists in planning activities to assure project deliverables and other work are produced timely and outcomes are achieved in accordance with established protocols and procedures including planni ng and facilitation of annual strategic planning . The CI Engine er will also facilitate assigned team activities such as team meetings, kaizen events, and project deliverables .
